  1. The ex-wife’s. Normally I can keep myself in check, but admittedly I’ve been sucked in these last few days. I’m doing my best to pull myself out of it and remind myself that her craziness is HER craziness :) .

  2. My daughter’s if I am not careful, when they complain about the crazy behavior of my ex and their annoyance that I am no longer there to be the buffer. That is hard and I have to be careful about what I am saying.

    I completely understand how hard it is to not get caught up in your daughter’s turmoil. Me, too! I really have to work hard at listening and being compassionate rather than jumping in and fixing everything…thereby making her issues my issues…and signaling to her that I don’t think she’s capable of dealing with her issues, when in fact, she’s very capable and just needs me to listen…
