The Power of Saying Thank You

Say Thank You

Have you ever stopped to think how powerful a simple “Thank You” is?  How do you feel when someone thanks you or shows you their appreciation? That’s what my Mother’s Day Dare is all about.  Saying “Thank You” and showing  your heart felt appreciation.

This Dare isn’t about second guessing what the recipient might think, because, quite frankly, you have no idea what she’s going think.  She doesn’t even know what she’s going to think until she opens the card.

What I hear from my step mom sisters who are NOT going to send a card is that their husband’s ex-wife would not be accepting of the gesture.  That the mom receiving the card will think negatively because the step mom sending the card is throwing her own negative interpretation.  Make sense?

People like to feel appreciated and recognized. You’ll find that by thanking people, you will strengthen relationships. ~ Wendy Maynard, Marketing Maven

Saying “Thank You” can start the mending process.  It can be the salve needed to heal the wounds of jealousy and insecurity.

This is a great 3 minute video about the power Thank You has!

Like Laura Trice says in the video – how else are we going to achieve world peace? It has to start with one household and grow from there.

Take the Mother’s Day Dare. Make sure you vote in the poll. Together we can heal families and save the world…one mom at time!
